Daka Tuss Shrine / Sunken Scoop – BotW

The Daka Tuss Shrine is one of the simplest non-Great Plateau shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, only being comprised of three rooms and two puzzles. Here’s how to complete it!

Upon entering the Daka Tuss Shrine, you’ll immediately see the first puzzle: three Sheikah Orbs in a pool of water next to a caged Sheikah Plate. Walk forward and you’ll see a submerged metal plate; magnesis the plate and use it to lift one of the orbs out of the water. Drop the orb into the cage on the left in order to open the door to the next room. Take the plate using magnesis and walk through the door.

This next room is nearly identical to the first, only the cage is locked by a door which is connected to a Pressure Plate beneath the water. This time, you’ll need to use the metal plate to pick up one of the Sheikah Orbs and drop it on top of the cage. Once the Orb is on top of the cage and is secure, drop the metal plate onto the Sheikah Plate which is submerged beneath the water. Doing this will cause the water to drain and reveal a pathway to the next room.

However, before going through to the next room, you can return to the first room to witness that the water has drained there too: revealing another hidden chamber. This chamber contains the shrine’s chest which has a Silver Longsword. Collect it if you like and move back to the second room.

Drop down into the now drained area and walk through the small gap which was hidden by the water. Climb a couple of ramps and acquire the Spirit Orb from the Shrine’s Monk!
