Kah Mael is one of the easier and most remotely located Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Here’s how to complete it!
Location
The Kah Mael Shrine is located on Tingel Island which is the northernmost of several very tall islands in the eastern region of Lanayru and Akkala. Be aware that there are many bokoblins, moblins, lizalfos and especially Guardian Skywatchers all over all six islands.

Walkthrough of Kah Mael Shrine
Once you cross all the islands to the east of the Lanayru and Akkala Regions, look for a large black slate on Tingel Island. You have two options to move it: use Stasis and bash it a bunch of times or use a couple of Octo Balloons to lift it into the air. Once it’s out of the way, drop down into the hole to find the Kah Mael Shrine.
Upon entering, you can see all of the shrine at once: the Monk on a higher platform, the two scales with a metal barrel on one of them, a high wooden platform with a large metal block and a chest in the corner!
Walk over and stand on the scale with the metal barrel on, and shoot the ropes keeping the wooden platform in place. This will drop the metal block onto the opposite scale and launch you into the air. Open your paraglider and glide over to the chest to find a diamond! If you can’t make it all the way over, drop onto the other platform and use Magnesis to drop the Metal Block onto the scale so you’re closer to the chest. Next, glide down to either block and magnesis the metal block. Drop it on the opposite scale from a tall height again to launch yourself into the air. Glide over to the higher platform and acquire the Spirit Orb from the Shrine’s Monk!
